You’ve learnt the basics…. now let’s take it to the next level
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is the next step to becoming the diver you’ve always dreamed of being! You get to choose 3 out of the 5 dives that you’ll do on the course, which means we can tailor your experience to things that you’re interested in, intrigued by or just fancy a challenge! The other 2 dives are compulsory which are a Deep dive and an Underwater Navigation dive.
This course is all about the DIVING! No exams, just fun and adventurous dives with a few knowledge reviews thrown in for good measure.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course certification will allow you to dive deeper, discover new areas of diving and gain confidence and experience all alongside one of our highly trained, registered and fun PADI Instructors.
What’s involved throughout the course?
The course couldn’t be easier to start! Simply have a chat with one of the team about all of the options and together, we’ll come up with a tailored PADI Advanced Open Water Course that is perfect for you!
The 5 dives for the course can be completed in as little as two days, with an element of home study for the knowledge reviews for the dives that you’ll be doing.

Note: Sometimes the conditions may not be conducive to diving around the Island but fear not! We use inland dive sites on the Mainland (Vobster Quay and Andark Lake) which do incur additional travel and an entry fee that isn’t included in the course fee – Usually around £21 per person + travel costs

Site entrance fee: There is a fee for open water dives requiring entry to an inland dive site, payable daily by the student. Any boat costs if relevant, will be agreed prior to the course.
Full SCUBA Equipment is required for the Course. If you need any equipment, you can hire this from Island Divers – just give us a call!
