During a holiday in 2001 to Jamaica, Jane experienced her first underwater moments and it was this that led her to take her PADI Open Water Course in the Maldives in 2005. She also completed a range of specialities - her favourite being the PADI Distinctive Specialty in Maldivian Shark and Ray ID. This course included one of her favourite dives which was Jane's first encounter with a variety of sharks. In 2007, Jane passed her PADI Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Divemaster in the beautiful waters of Barbados. It is Barbados that captured her heart and Jane's favourite dive site of all time is a secret unmarked one called 'Shark Hole', where she has seen Manta Ray and a range of sharks including whitetip, blacktip and grey reef. Jane's favourite thing to see underwater are sea horses. Jane also enjoys the challenges of UK diving. Jane passed her Instructor course with us in Malta this year. Jane loves night diving and joining in on all the fun Project AWARE days. In the future Jane dreams of becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and working both in the UK and Barbados. |
